The Gray wolves live in North America and Eurasia. They have the most grey wolves there.
1) Grow and develop
The females grow 80 - 140 pounds and the males grow 100-170 pounds and females are usually
five feet long and two feet at the shoulder and male wolves are 5 - 6.6 feet long, mostly 6 and are three feet a the shoulder.Historically, Grey wolves have the largest range of any land mammal, other than people. Grey wolves have lived in all habitats in the Northern Hemisphere except for tropical forest. Grey wolves tend to occupy forests, tundra and grassy plains as well as deserts and mountains.
2) Reproduction
Gray Wolves breed once a year between January and April. Female and male wolves reach sexual maturity between 2 and 3 years.
When gray wolves mate they usually stays together for life. After they mate the female makes a den for raising the pups. The den is usually in
a cave or a base.
